The Potter’s Archive documents almost a decade of working in clay. In my mind some of the pieces are an abject failure and others it was just a shame they never sold. Each piece has a story connected to it, that is deeply personal and related to everything that was going in my life when it was made.
For day to day purposes the Archive is stored in heavy duty brown plastic crates that came from the Heinz baked beans factory.
This is a living archive so pieces get added to it over time as my making changes and evolves.
The Archive itself is available for exhibition, or handling sessions where it is all about telling a story of what makes a piece of pottery.
