We Are Open
I really enjoyed my time in the Preston Bus Station working with Derelict. I got a lot of drawings done and I’m looking at making another book from what was created during this mini residency. It was good to get out again and work with the public after so much disruption the last 18 months. I’m open to doing similar things again. It makes me want to run small classes from close to home, but it will have to be in the spring.
Christmas Market
On the 3rd and 4th of December I held my open studio, which people came and had a look around. We had to close early on the Saturday because a storm was brewing and my sails were ready to take off, so we made everything safe and got to sit in a warm house. Thank you to everyone that came, hopefully we can run more events in the New Year and get a warmer space sorted out here

That’s right I have launched a website for my painting escapades I am a self taught painter having started when Red Fox Pottery was in its infancy back in 2011, I felt it deserved its own space as it does very different work to the pottery. Though some of the prints that I do are available from the shop.
A New Space to be Creative
It has been a long term goal to try and get a new workshop sorted. My old workshop was a rotten 13 year old wooden shed, that was a mere 5 foot by 7 foot (1.5m by 2.1m) and no matter what I did it was too cramped, and more than once I tripped over myself. The only major body of work I created in that form of the workshop was for the Harris Museum back in 2019.
